PONDS and WATER GARDENS

This is the start of a new page. Eventually all of our pond and water gardens links will be located here. For now, you can also look to our General Aquaria Related Sites page to find more pond links. Until we get the links moved over, we apologize for any difficulties you may encounter while looking for information. Thank you for your patience.

This is for those of you who would wish to bring your hobbies outdoors during the good weather (for too many of us, too few months in length. You will be able to find links not only to ponds and water gardens, but how to keep and maintain various fish in such situations.

biofilter.com
BioFilter.Com is an index of aquatic and aquaculture information found on the Internet. We review each article/site submitted to us for relevance, place it into an appropriate category, provide you with the opening paragraph of the document and its active hyperlink. We manually sort the sites because people understand aquaculture much better than search engines do! The information stored here is based upon all of our collective knowledge.
Bonnie's Plants
"I have been growing plants since I was a young girl, when I followed my grandfather around and helped him in his gardens. I have been actively been involved in the sale and propagation of specimen plants for 25 years. In 1980 I became a state Certified Master Gardner in the state of Michigan through the Department of Agriculture. My husband, Rich and I have owned a retail florist, nursery and garden center called Sunburst Florist & Nursery since 1987." A part of the KoiVet web site.
Digital Dragonfly On-line Museum
The images presented here are from the entomology program based at the Texas Agricultural Experiment Station in Stephenville, Texas, part of Texas A&M University. The aquatic biology portion of the research program was initiated in the fall of 1994 and has focused on dragonflies since 1995. A study on damselflies was begun in 1996. The specimens presented here have been captured throughout the state of Texas. The 'SCANS' part of this site is meant to provide entomologists, both amateur and professional, with multiple images of Texas dragonfly species. These images are to scale when viewed in Adobe Photoshop and measurements may be taken from them. Having multiple specimens of each sex of a single species will allow the interested individual to assess (to a degree) color pattern, wing venation and dragonfly morphology. These images are from dragonfly specimens collected during the interval July 1996-August 2001. New specimens will be added to the image gallery as they become available. The ultimate goal is to obtain a representative sample of each species of dragonfly occurring in central Texas.

Zola's Ponds Fountains and Birdbaths
Living in an apartment in the city, one would think there would hardly be room for a pond. But with a little imagination and a lot of effort it was possible to capture that feeling. The sound of running water soothes the soul and now we have that essence in our very own yard.
