Amy & Phillip's Amazing Aquaria
Once upon a time (oh about 7 or so years ago), it was a dark stormy night, and two very bored college students had exhausted all of their time-wasting options. It seemed that they'd finally have to crack open a book and (gasp) study. But then out of the blue one of the kids (theres still great debate as to which one it really was) opened their mouth and the words 'fish tank' spewed out. At first the suggestion was deemed horrid by both, since we'd both had tanks as children and had known the pain of flushing guppies. But, being creative (and just a little twisted) we looked upon our childhood failures as a sort of challenge to overcome. Together we could do it right. We could pull it off. We could avoid studying for another night.
Aqua_Max
Pages are in both English and Swedish. About Max and aquariums.
For translation help go to Babel Fish and enter this site's URL (the http: stuff).

Breeding Tropical Fish
Hi my name is Paul. I have been breeding tropical fish here in Australia for about 25 years. I hope you enjoy my homepage, and you find the information you are looking for. If I haven't got the information on the fish you are trying to breed, give me a yell and send me a email, I will then add that fish to my homepage for you. But firstly, please read the information to hand carefully - the information you want may already be here. Also, for those who take the time to email with questions, please check that the information is not already contained within this home page, and please also take the time to sign mguest bookok. Thanks.
C.R. Discus
Hello, Let me begin by saying that I live on Long Island, New York and consider myself just a knowledgeable amateur and not a "professional breeder". I sell and trade my discus to help offset the cost, acquire different strains and obtain the never ending need for more equipment. My discus are only obtained from fellow hobbyists/breeders. I do not import and resell fish. When I have fry they were hatched and parent raised in my home. They are free of deformities and their health is guaranteed.
The CassiDietsch Zoo Fish Room
Part of a site describing this family's pets.
Cathy's Homepage of Tropical Fish Keeping
I have been involved in the tropical fish hobby since I was 6 years old, when my dad set up our first 10 gallon metal rimmed, slate bottom tank. We had Angelfish, Neons, Swordtails & some other kinds that I can't even remember. Ever since then I have been hooked, & as soon as I was old enough, I ran out & applied for a job at a pet shop/aquarium which was over 14 years ago. The total years I have been involved in the hobby is 25 years. It is my life, my passion & I do it WELL!!! I have studied for many years all there is to know about aquariology, water management & all aspects of fish keeping. I know about saltwater but the idea of this page was for people to have an understanding of basic knowledge of aquariology before they ran right out & spent $600.00 on a huge saltwater set-up, & see their investment go up in smoke. I have seen it TOO MANY TIMES, trust me!
Christman's Bettas

I used to raise Guinea pigs also, but due to time constraints I sold ALL of them to Kim. David also used to raise Bettas and now just has Guppies. We will be happy to try to answer any questions you have, even if it is about animals we no longer have.

Hoa G. Nguyen's Freshwater Planted Aquarium
A beautiful planted aquarium does not have to be high-tech (and therefore high-cost). But low-tech is not synonymous with unscientific. A lot of research has gone into the setup of this tank. I picked and chose between different alternatives, always with an eye on keeping costs down. In the following pages, I describe my planted aquarium, often with footnotes on my early mistakes so they are not repeated by others.
The Home Page of Tom and Pat Bridges
As the picture of some of our Anableps might tell you, we are, and have been, enthusiastic tropical fish hobbyists for the past twenty-five years. We're strictly amateurs but we've had some good luck from time to time and we hope to use this site to share a bit of information and a few pictures related to this beautiful hobby.

Pete And Sue's Wet Pets
We are Pete and Sue Scimeca, two tropical fish hobbyists who love to raise and sell top quality freshwater angelfish. Long time members of a local general species fish club called Green Water Aquarist Society of Chicagoland Sue has been club vice president in the past, and we are now both current board members plus publicity chairperson. Over the years we have won several awards and in 1997 Sue was awarded GWAS member of the year. Our current "fish room", a spare bedroom, holds a maximum of 17 tanks , the largest being 55 gallons. Because of space restrictions we must be very selective in what we keep and breed. Not only do we breed angelfish, but often, if space allows, breed Rainbowfish as well as various species of Dwarf South American Cichlids with a occasional Killifish thrown in for good measure.
Photographies de Poissons et D'invertébrés Marins
This site is in French, and it is mostly graphical, so, unless you have at least a rudimentary understanding of French, you may have a difficult time getting around. However, stumbling around has its merits. The photographs are superb. Also offered are screensavers and wallpapers for your desktop. The identified photos use scientific names for identification, so you can look the critters up in your handy dandy reference books. These are photos of marine critters only, nothing for the freshwater person here, escept to look and think about setting up a marine tank of some sort.

Sea and Sky
My name is J.D. Knight and I am the sole creator and webmaster of Sea and Sky. I originally created this site back in 1997 to share my love of the Seas and the Stars with everyone on the Internet. I am a dedicated amateur astronomer and marine aquarium hobbyist. This Web site is also my hobby, and is funded completely by myself. I am a professional graphic artist and Web designer here in Orlando, Florida. I work for a small technology firm where I help create computer-based training products. I also design and maintain Web sites. Over the years, as my knowledge and experience with the Internet has grown, Sea and Sky has grown. This site has been very well received by the educational community and has received a number of distinctive awards. Sea and Sky has been featured in a number of magazines and newspapers around the world, and has also appeared on television. I am committed to maintaining Sea and Sky as a non-commercial, non-profit Web site dedicated to sharing the splendors of our fragile oceans and the wonders of the universe with all members of the world Internet community.
