FREE SPEECH UNDER ATTACK
Several fellow aquarists are now facing a suit for several million dollars for comments made on a mailing list detailing one person's experience with a business who has an online presence. They do neeed to defend them selves, to the tune of several thousands of dollars lest they be found in default. The suit has been filed in New York, yet none of the defendants live or do business in New York. In a nutshell, they are being sued for comments made about actual events that transpired between the time one person found a website, read it, placed an order based onthe information provided, the time elapsed between placement of the order and reciept of the order and what transpired, and the quality of the goods recieved. follow the banner link below for more information and how to contribute.
