Welcome to the Worcester Aquarium Society Web Site. This site will
give you some information about the Worcester (MA) Aquarium Society
(WAS). To learn more about us, we urge you to attend one of our meetings.
We are sure you will be back.

This site is constantly under construction, so please forgive our dust. Links
are added every week, some pages will change format and new pages will be
created as needed. We wish to provide you with information about our Society,
our sister clubs and societies, and the hobby in general on a timely basis.
Who are we?
The WAS is a group of hobbyists whose interest in keeping fish has
brought us together so that we may learn from each other as well as the programs
that the WAS provides. We try to use real people as speakers as often
as possible, but some of our programs are provided as prepackaged videos or
slide shows. The meeting date in December of each year is reserved for our
annual Holiday Party, which is strictly a social event.
We were established in 1949 by a group of hobbyists with the goals:
