This site has been designed and built using NetObjects Fusion 4.0.  This is an extremely useful and easy to use tool that helps with the basic layout of your site as well as for editing the content. NOF also makes adding JavaScript and other automation very easy.  NOF can publish directly to the ftp server for your site.

In addition to NOF, some of the content is generated from my Lotus Notes Fish database.  The content within:

• Inhabitants
• Status

is generated as are the SpeciesPopups.  As I keep the Fish database up-to-date, the web site can be updated by the press of a button.

In my Fish database I store the following data:

• Inhabitants (Identification; how, when and where attained including cost if appropriate; size when attained and current size; notes about the individual)
• Water Status (Date; Time; Temperature; Specific Gravity; pH; Alkalinity; Ammonia; Nitrite; Nitrate; Calcium; Phosphate) of each tank;
• Water Changes (Date; Time; Volume; Salt brand) for each tank;
• Taxonomy reference data - Species, Families
• Aquarium Shops
• Dive Locations
• A general diary for recording observations, etc.
